Yes — a solar permit means a homeowner who already said yes to electrification. Battery, EV charging and heat pumps are the follow-on, and their neighbours are your warmest doors.
Can I filter to just new builds?
Yes. Settings lets you switch permit types on and off, and set a minimum value.
Which cities?
Vancouver, Surrey, New Westminster, Maple Ridge and Victoria today. Surrey publishes solar permits as their own type; Vancouver and Victoria mention them in the permit description.
