PermitRadius
For BC elevator, lift + accessibility companies

Every building that will need an elevator contract, from the day the permit is issued.

In short

Apartment and multiplex permits, residential elevator permits and custom homes over $2.5M — PermitRadius pulls them out of the building-permit feeds the week they land, with the developer or builder behind each one. Installation for the new ones, a maintenance contract for all of them. From CA$39 a month, no per-lead fees.

Real permits from the last 12 months, shown as they appear in the app (block addresses here; subscribers see the site address). Updated Sep 28.

How it reaches you

From city hall to your phone, the same week.

Cities publish permits as open data. We read them every morning, tag what’s being built, and send you the ones that are elevator work.

  1. 01

    The city issues the permit

Every building permit is published as open data, usually the same day it’s issued. It carries the address, the value, the work type and often the builder.

  2. 02

We read it and tag what’s being built

Each morning we pull every new permit, scrub personal details, and read the description for the features that matter to you.

How elevator installers and service contractors use it

Three plays that win the job.

01

The spec call

Reach the developer the week the permit lands, before the mechanical package is tendered. Being on the drawings is half the job.

Best for: installers

02

The maintenance handoff

Every new building becomes a service contract at occupancy. Start the relationship a year early.

Best for: service contractors

03

The custom-home lift

Builders of $2.5M+ homes get asked for elevators constantly. Be the name they give.

Best for: residential lifts
Why timing wins

This year’s permit is a 20-year service contract.

Elevators are specified early and serviced forever. The permit is your earliest possible signal that a building is really happening.

Elevators FAQ

What elevator installers and service contractors ask us.

How do you know a building has an elevator?

Apartment and multiplex permits are kept by type — four storeys and up needs one. Home elevators are found in the permit text and tagged Elevator.

Do you cover commercial?

Yes. Commercial permits over $2M are included in the elevator filter; you can switch them off in Settings.

Which cities?

Vancouver, Surrey, New Westminster, Maple Ridge and Victoria, with more added by permit volume. Vancouver publishes the most multi-storey permits.

Who else sees these leads?

Timing is your edge: the permit is public, we just read it the day it’s published so you can be first.
