PermitRadius started with a simple observation: the best landscaping leads are sitting in public permit records, and nobody was reading them for the people who need them.
Why we exist
Every new house in BC starts with a permit. That permit names the builder and the block weeks before a shovel hits the ground. Landscapers, fencers, cleaners and demolition crews used to hear about these jobs by driving around. We read the permits instead and send the list every Monday.
How we think about data
Companies only. We use municipal open data and public permit records, remove personal information and cite the source on every permit. We follow BC’s privacy law and Canada’s anti-spam law, and we don’t touch data sources that forbid commercial use. Read our data sources and methodology.
What we’re not
